Hannah Beutler
The young Swiss soprano Hannah Beutler has been a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Koblenz since the 2023/24 season. In the upcoming season, she will appear there as Woglinde (Das Rheingold), Marzelline (Fidelio), Sophie (Werther), and Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice). She made her debut at the theater in roles such as Adele (Die Fledermaus), Bellezza (Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), and Echo (Ariadne auf Naxos).
In the summer of 2023, she achieved great success as Ännchen (Der Freischütz) at the Ettlinger Schlossfestspiele. In addition, Hannah Beutler appears regularly as a concert soloist in Switzerland and Germany. Her concert repertoire includes Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor, Dvořák’s Stabat Mater, and Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
She studied with Prof. Lina Maria Åkerlund at the Zurich University of the Arts, completing both her artistic and pedagogical master’s degrees with distinction. Her final year of study was spent as an Erasmus student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, where she worked with Prof. Ulrike Sonntag—an artistic partnership she continues to maintain.
