We are thrilled to share that baritone Carl Rumstadt has reached the final of the International Singing Competition for Wagner Voices in Bayreuth!

From an extraordinary field of 278 applicants from 39 countries, only four singers have been selected for the final — a wonderful achievement in itself. On 11 August 2026, Carl will perform in Bayreuth with 90 members of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, conducted by Axel Kober, before a distinguished jury chaired by Katharina Wagner and including legendary mezzo-soprano Waltraud Meier.
